My brother-in-law spotted this beautiful old clock in a trash bag. It’s the biggest wall hanging clock I have ever purchased. It was in a bit of dis-repair, but it cleaned up very nicely and it just took a little bit of glue to fix. I like to leave the scratches as-is and leave a little bit of the patina on it. I embellished the sides with some brass parts from a wall sconce. I cut the sconce in half to get the two pieces. Up at the top, the large horn-bell is held in place by an ornate door plate. I added a brass piece at the bottom as well. I have no idea what this brass piece was attached to originally. The large, silver, circular piece I believe is an old charger that I shined up a little bit. The three angles I rescued from the trash. They looked like they were broken, glued, and broken again. The green, crushed velvet in the background gives the whole thing a Wizard of Oz vibe.
