My father was a teacher. He worked every summer as a repair man for GE and then Sears. His left arm was always much darker than his right because it was hanging out the window of his work van. He was born in 1943. He passed in 2024 and worked his ass off in between. His tools included wrenches for plumbing and gas, gauges for pressure and electric as well as every screwdriver, hammer, and saw. He taught himself how to do everything required to be a service technician, just so he could keep working. He was my inspiration for this one.
